after a while all the enemies stopped comming, all i'm getting is spears thrown at me

I tried to make sure there would never be an impossible gap, but it seems some people are experiencing them when they get very far along.

how do you get past those trees? they keep hitting me and i can't dodge or attack back

You cant hurt the trees, they are magical and own the woods. There's a walkthrough on my userpage. Give the Haunted Woods part a read-through and then try again. This game is not supposed to be easy.

it doesn't matter what pattern it has, it's impossible not to get attacked constantly and die.
other than that super fun gameplay and animation/ art =)
i'm gunna stop trying to kill the boar now, i've tried a few dozen times already
